The KN series fluorescent pigments are highly transparent and highly pigmented fluorescent soluble color concentrates that can be completely dissolved in the color adjusters of solvents. They are suitable for preparing solvent-based offset and intaglio inks, and are used for printing on various packaging papers, transparent films, and metal aluminum foils, etc. They are also suitable for preparing ultraviolet light-curable inks. The fluorescent inks prepared from KC series solvent-based pigments have a good clear fluorescent effect.

The KN pigments can be miscible with the binders of many offset inks, including nitrocellulose, cellulose, cellulose acetate, butyrate, acrylic fiber, ketone resin, and polyamide resin, etc. To increase the resistance to damage, abrasion, water, and slip, a small amount of wax additives can be added.

The KN pigments must be pre-dissolved in a mixture of alcohols and esters. It is recommended to prepare a mixture of about 30% anhydrous ethanol or n-propanol and 70% butanone, and then add the binders and other components to form printing inks.
